2K Games revealed that NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 4 has officially kicked off with several additions and changes. The headliner is gamers will receive a free Galaxy Opal KD card to begin the new season with. It'll also feature new player cards including Flash 5 series in packs and new challenges, such as the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Signature Challenge. Also, there are new NBA Weekly and Moments challenges and agendas for players to participate in, the introduction of the Domination Heat Check tier, and more Throwback Moment pack drop. NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 4 trailer drops
On Friday, January 8, the NBA 2K social media released the new trailer for MyTeam Season 4. It features a quick video clip with highlights of Kevin Durant on both the Brooklyn Nets and OKC Thunder. Also featured are other stars such as Kemba Walker, Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and Zion Williamson.

→ Earn 3 stars against all 33 Heat Check teams to earn Galaxy Opal Antawn Jamison. Each Heat Check team's form depends on their actual performance in the NBA (IRL)
• New 'Throwback Moments' packs every Tuesday, each player included is tied to a specific iconic moment in their career.
• New Galaxy Opal Russell Westbrook reward for earning all 6 rings in Limited and Galaxy Opal Kevin McHale for going 12-0 in Galaxy Opal League of MyTEAM Unlimited
• Galaxy Opal Damian Lillard will also now be available to any players who have collected 2000 cards
• IDOLS Series II starts in Season 4, players who completed Series I in the previous Seasons will have earned themselves Galaxy Opal Chris Webber.
A New Level 40 Prize
The headliner about MyTeam Season 4 is the Galaxy Opal version of the Los Angeles Clippers' Kawhi Leonard, which is a new level 40 prize. Unsurprisingly, NBA 2K21 has opted to make KD the face of its latest MyTeam season, which all starts with a Free Agency card inspired by the Brooklyn Nets small forward.
New Domination Heat Check Tier
One thing revealed for the NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 4 is that there will be the fourth tier for Domination with Heat Check. Basically, Heat Check cards are ones that can get stats boosts should a player have impressive real-life NBA performances.
Gamers who earn 99 Stars in Heat Check Domination earn a Galaxy Opal Antawn Jamison.
Flash 5 Packs Bring New Pink Diamond Cards
The trailer points out some of what to expect in the new season, including new player cards. The first pack was released on Friday bringing Pink Diamond cards for Jimmy Butler, Isaiah Thomas, and DeMarcus Cousins.
Butler gets the best card of the bunch with a 97 overall that features 90 Defending, 89 Athleticism, and 87 Outside Scoring. A total of 21 Gold and 17 Hall of Fame Badges is also nice, with Acrobat, Slithery, and Intimidator among them.

A free NBA 2K21 Locker Codes "FLASH-5-GO-BUTLER" dropped on Twitter on Friday. It allows gamers a chance at a Flash 5 pack from NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 4. It could also bring 2K21 MT or Tokens. It lasts for just one week.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Signature Challenge
The NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 4 Signature Challenge features Lakers great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The Challenge involves "matching Kareem's career-high 55 points that he scored against the 1984 Utah Jazz." Gamers earn rewards such as a HOF Deep Hooks/Hook Specialist Badge and Diamond Shoe.
NBA 2K21 gave out a free Locker Code "KAREEM-38387-POINTS" that will give gamers an 89 OVR Ruby Kareem card to use for his Challenge.
