2K has announced NBA 2K22 Season 6: Zero Gravity, including new rewards and challenges for MyTEAM, MyCareer, and The City. Here is everything we know about Season 6: Zero Gravity so far:
NBA 2K22 Season 6 Release Date and Time
NBA 2K22 Season 6 Zero Gravity will kick off this Friday, April 8th, 2022.
Running for about five weeks, the sixth season is scheduled to end on May 13, 2022, as Season 7 begins.
NBA 2K22 Season 6: New Content
Here is the new content that can expect from NBA 2K22 Season 6 Zero Gravity:
1. MyCAREER
1). Season 6: Zero Gravity will introduce 40 additional levels to progress through for the season's duration, tasking players with completing a variety of new quests "in search of the best competition in the galaxy."
2). This season's Level 40 reward is a Bunny Suit, which may not fit the season's sci-fi theme but is still a fun cosmetic to earn.
3). Other prizes include Season 6 apparel, a BMX, a new animated item, etc.
2. MyTEAM
1). Playoff moment agendas — For the 2022 NBA playoffs, MyTeam will add new lifetime agenda groups for each round. The groups will contain agendas based on real-life playoff moments. At the end of the rounds, new moments-based cards will be added to the agenda.
2). Weekly rewards — MyTeam will add new reward cards starting April 11 with Giannis Anetokounmpo. The mode will drop a new card every weekday. You have to complete the agendas of the previous day's card to get the new one. Each card's ratings will increase as you go.
3). New Limited rewards — The reward for the Limited mode (where you have to use a specific type of player card to compete) will be picked by the fans. The official MyTeam community will vote in a poll to determine the reward.
3. The W
1). The W returns for the WNBA's historic 25th season with all-new rewards, including new 2K Breakthrough Gear, an Extra Badge Point, VC, a Seasonal Clothing Bundle, and a Custom Green Release.
2). Additionally, Season 6 gives players the opportunity to add WNBA legends Katie Smith and Cheryl Ford to their contact list after reaching the Hall of Fame tier.
4. First Fridays
'First Fridays' features a collaboration between NBA 2K and COLORxSTUDIOS, a new playlist of original recordings from A COLORS SHOW, with classic tracks from COLORS' global artist community, including cuts from US rap star Smino, Belgian hip-hop artist Krisy, rising London talent ENNY and more. The partnership will also premiere an episode of A COLORS SHOW with Oakland-based rapper GUAPDAD 4000, the first time a music video will be showcased in-game.
